What We Stand For: 

VISION
The NTC Teacher Education Program envisions itself as the Standard Bearer of the Institution dedicated to the development of future teachers who manifest high performance in the exercise of the noblest, the most dignified and the best loved-profession-TEACHING.

MISSION
It shall be the unwavering mission of NTC College of Education to offer quality pre-service training for teachers to improve the quality of education in general and that of the basic education in particular in an atmosphere of democracy anchored on the ideals of commitment, dedication and excellence.

About Us: 

PROGRAM OUTCOMES

  • At the end of the program the students will able to:
  • Acquire knowledge and skills if extensive rules of procedure, established methodologies and strategies applicable to the real world of teaching as well as qualitative value standards for professional practice.
  • Engage in curricular orientation and professional training in the art and science of teaching based on the prescribed curricula for BEED and BSED.
  • Demonstrate the importance of providing for social, emotional and intellectual climate within which all students regardless of individual differences, can engage in the different learning experiences and work towards attaining high standards of learning.
  • Facilitate the learning process by recognizing individual differences, and using such knowledge to design varied learning activities to ensure learning goals.
  • Align the assessment process into the learning activities essential in the integration procedure and revision of the instructional plan, to measure the learner’s actual achievement and behavior.
  • Demonstrate high regard for the teaching profession, concern for professional development and continuous improvement as teachers.
