Scholarships
The Scholarships Office aims to provide different programs such as Scholarships, Service Grants, Student Loan, and Financial Assistance to our students that will help them achieve their goals and aspirations.
Entrance Scholarship
1. WITH HIGHEST HONOR / DISTINCTION
- 100% basic tuition fee discount for one semester only excluding miscellaneous fees
2. WITH HIGH HONOR / DISTINCTION
- 50% basic tuition fee discount for one semester only excluding miscellaneous fees
Requirements:
- Honor Certification from High School
- Photocopy of SHS Report Card
- Certification that the student belongs to at least forty (40) graduating class
- Photocopy of Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Duly accomplished application form available in the Scholarships Office
Academic Scholarship
1. FULL SCHOLARSHIP
- 100% basic tuition fee discount for one semester only excluding miscellaneous fees
Qualifications:
- At least one semester residence
- At least 18 units load in previous semester
- With GWA of at least A- (94% – 96%)
- With no grade lower than B (88% – 90%)
2. PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP
- 50% basic tuition fee discount for one semester only excluding miscellaneous fees
Qualifications:
- At least one semester residence
- At least 18 units load in previous semester
- With GWA of at least B (88% – 90%)
- With no grade lower than B- (85% – 87%)
Requirements:
- Semestral Report during the previous semester
- Registration Form (previous & present)
- Duly accomplished application form available in the Scholarships Office
Service Grants
1. STUDENT ASSISTANTSHIP PROGRAM (SAP)
- 100% basic tuition fee discount for one semester only excluding miscellaneous fees
- 20 hours per week duty
Qualifications:
- 10,000 and below monthly income
- At least 80% GWA in Senior HS (for incoming freshmen)
- No grade below C+ (80% – 84%) for old students
- At least 18 units enrolled in the previous semester (for higher year levels)
- At least 15-unit load for the present semester
- No academic delinquencies such as Incomplete, Dropped, Withdrawal (authorized/unauthorized), and Failure marks in the previous semester
Requirements:
- Certificate of non-filing of Income Tax from BIR (for parents without source of income)
- Income Tax Return from BIR (for parents with source of income)
- Case Study Report from City / Municipal Social Welfare Office
- Photocopy of Report Card
- Registration Form
- Letter of Intent from parents
- Duly accomplished application form available in the Scholarships Office
All applicants of Financial Assistance Scholarship will undergo an Interview with the Scholarship Officer together with their parents or legal guardian.
Government Scholarship Grants
1. TERTIARY EDUCATION SUBSIDY
- Financial Assistance from the Commission on Higher Education to financially handicapped students
2. CHED STATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
- Scholarship Grant from Commission on Higher Education for incoming freshmen with good academic standing
3. CHED TULONG DUNONG PROGRAM
Financial Assistance from Commission on Higher Education to financially handicapped students with good academic standing
Php 15,000 financial assistance per Academic Year
4. LGU FUNDED SCHOLARSHIP
- Scholarship Grant given by a Local Government Unit to financially handicapped students with good academic standing
5. P.D. 577 SCHOLARSHIP
- The National Teachers College awards the scholarship to children of military personnel who died or became incapacitated in line of duty. The grant consists of full (100%) basic tuition fee discount. The student must meet the College requirement for admission. The College President will establish an annual quota, to be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Academic delinquencies will automatically cancel the privilege.
- Requirements:
- Death Certificate of the parent
- Interview with the Scholarship Officer
- Duly accomplished application form available in the Scholarships Office
- Photocopy of previous semestral report (for old student)
- Photocopy of report card (for incoming freshmen)
- Award of entitlement, certification, or a guarantee letter from the Armed Forces of the Philippines pertinent to the scholarship must be presented to the Scholarships Office

Other Financial Assistance Programs
1. SSS EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE LOAN PROGRAM
- Student Loan Program for members and dependents of Social Security System
2. FAMILY DISCOUNT
- Basic tuition fee discount for any brother or sister admitted to join a sibling enrolled at the National Teachers College with the following conditions:
- The discount is available to degree programs only
- Discounts can be availed for the 1st semester or 2nd semester excluding summer
- The sibling who has the higher tuition fee shall pay in full and will be the reference of the family discount
- He / She must be enrolled in full load or a minimum of 21 units.
- Second to third sibling will receive 20% discount in the basic tuition fee
