The National Teachers College has been home to many successful teachers like John Lloyd Arocha, an SHS Teacher, and DepEd Technical Assistant.
He said, “NTC was not only a college to me but also a home. I initially chose NTC because it differs from other schools. It makes me feel as if I truly belong there.”
In NTC, John Lloyd also found a place to enhance his skills and leadership. He gained experiences that helped him to grow and thrive as a teacher academically and holistically.
John Lloyd also added, “NTC helped me to easily get a job in general as the school itself aligned to other prestigious schools in producing quality education graduates.”
However, his years in NTC were not easy. He faced many challenges that sometimes he lost hope because people doubted his capabilities. Yet, he never let people get into him and proved that he fits into his course as a BioScience student with the encouragement of his classmates and teachers.
Now that John Lloyd is successful as an educator and DepEd Technical Assistant, he still has the values he acquired from NTC. He works with substance as what his professors hone him to be. Apart from that, he can adjust easily to any given situation.
Indeed, National Teachers College produces students with burning passion and ambition to be the best in their careers. It also helps students develop their weaknesses into strengths and overcome the doubts of others in their capabilities to succeed more in life.
NTC, a premier institution under a Yuchengco-Ayala educational partnership, ensures that Filipinos will have access to quality education at a reasonable cost.
NTC Partnered with experts in remote learning to ensure the effective delivery of its remote learning. These include: Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)-JWEL who works with member organizations to promote excellence and transformation in education to address global opportunities for scalable change in education; Mapua University, one of the pioneers in distance learning, has been continuously improving learning connectivity online even before ECQ; Derrick Latrielle ran learning and development operations for blue-chip technology, telecommunications, and BPO companies operating around the world, especially in South America and Southeast Asia; and, Dr. Edizon Fermin is a member of CHED’s Technical Working Group on Remote Learning.
NTC’s learning continuity plan is clear: stay safe at home and learn meaningfully with assistance from our responsive remote staff, either through calls, texts, social media messages, or emails. The world may have changed drastically, but NTC’s commitment to providing accessible and quality education remains steadfast.
