NTC-Celebrates-Ana-Lizette-Curitana's-Dedication-and-Excellence

The National Teachers College (NTC) recently hosted a celebratory luncheon on November 16, 2023, in honor of Ms. Ana Lizette S. Curitana, a distinguished alumna who clinched the 2nd spot in the Librarian Licensure board examinations on September 2023—a momentous occasion to recognize Ms. Curitana’s remarkable dedication and excellence.

The esteemed NTC Leadership and Administration team, led by Dr. Edizon Fermin, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Ms. Chris Fuentes, the Vice President for Student Services, and Mr. Judel A. Roman, the Dean of the School for Arts Sciences and Technology, came together to present Ms. Curitana with various incentives as a token of recognition for her exceptional dedication and hard work in her chosen field of study.

During the luncheon, Ms. Curitana took a moment to express her heartfelt gratitude to her Alma Mater, her teachers, and the entire NTC Community for the unwavering support she received throughout her academic journey. Her words echoed the spirit of an NTCian, and she proudly stands as a beacon of Tanglaw Pride.

Reflecting on the significance of this achievement, Mr. Judel Roman, the Dean of SOAST, shared his thoughts, stating, “The celebratory luncheon for the first BLIS topnotcher highlights the true KaKaMPi spirit. Ana’s feat embodies Kahusayan, having achieved what few have done before. This made her stand out, especially since this event is the first from one of the degree programs of SOAST.”

He continued, “Although the BLIS program comprises a few students as of now, Ana’s accomplishment has shown that this core group can achieve an important milestone and bring the program the recognition it deserves. This simple but meaningful fete shows another important core value—Malasakit—as we show that each member of the Tanglaw community strives to work hard for the success of each student.”

In essence, Ms. Curitana’s success goes beyond personal achievement; it illuminates the path for future students in the BLIS program and underscores the dedication of the NTC community to each student’s success. Moreover, with Ms. Curitana’s success, the NTC community strengthens its commitment to helping students prepare for the real world and continuously inspires students to achieve their goals and dreams.

As we applaud Ms. Ana Lizette S. Curitana, we also celebrate the collaborative spirit and dedication of the NTC community in fostering an environment where success is encouraged and achieved. Her journey inspires current students, staff, and stakeholders alike, showcasing the tangible outcomes of hard work, perseverance, and the unwavering support of a community that believes in the potential of each individual.
