The MAED in Filipino focuses on the pedagogical application of the theories and principles culled from the fields of literary theory and criticism, linguistics, curriculum design, development, and evaluation in order to equip teachers with the skills, knowledge and the teaching know-how. This program provides them the training in the teaching of language, literature and the contemporary needs of their students. The curriculum is designed for the teachers in the basic education, and college courses.
