MAEd major in Physical Education
The Master of Arts in Education, major in Physical Education is designed for educators who are interested in acquiring knowledge and expertise in the area of physical fitness, education and sports. The Program curriculum includes curriculum development, organization, administration and supervision of physical education classes, fitness activities both for learning, health and recreation. Latest innovation and teaching approaches are included in the training of MAED Physical Education majors. A strong research capability will form part of students’ training. The graduates of MAED PE are expected to become specialist in sports, fitness and physical education and recreation. They have opportunities to become fitness/athlete trainers, sports analysts, coach, creation and wellness leaders of the community and a physical education specialist.
