An NTCian will always be a Tanglaw wherever their feet may take them, like Marrion Cerilo, a lead teacher in Doha, Qatar.

Marrion is currently living in Qatar and teaching Grade 8 and 9 at Al Ashbal International School. After graduating from NTC in 2013 and before moving to another country to find an opportunity, Marrion was an editorial assistant and later a production editor for social studies and senior high school section at Vibal Group, Inc.

Part of why Marrion enjoys his success is due to the National Teachers College. He said, “I do believe that NTC helped me to be the person I am today. It offered me a growing and healthy environment where I was encouraged to pursue who I want to be in the future. Also, it helps me to express myself without hurting or stepping into other people. NTC is one of the best decisions I have ever made.”

Marrion brings the values and experiences he gained from NTC to show that he can be a light-bearer of passion and ambition to other nations as he also represents our country. According to Marrion, “NTC made me realize that I want to help my countrymen. NTC made me patriotic, and it made me love the college, but also the country. It made me feel that I want to serve and give my best for my country.”

Indeed, the National Teachers College can ignite your passion as a  leader of education in nation-building like Marrion. Wherever you might be in the world, an NTCian will shine brighter as a beacon of passion, ambition, and success because the NTC is a producer of light-bearers, who are always thriving in their chosen path.
