Preliminary Mechanics
I. Submission of Entries/Audition Videos
1. The School of Business Battle of the Bands 2019 entitled “BIGATING MUSICLABAN” is open to all students of the National Teachers College (Senior High School and College Levels) currently enrolled in the first semester of SY 2019-2020.
2. The participating band/s shall be composed of minimum of four (4) and a maximum of eight (8) members.
3. Only amateur bands with no recording/distribution deals with any major label and are or were never a part of any professional music outfits are allowed to join the contest.
4. The participating bands are required to upload the audition video thru facebook or youtube.
5. The participating bands are required to submit the audition video’s link via the official event’s email address SOBBattleoftheBands1@gmail.com
6. The audition video shall be 4-6 minutes long only.
7. Deadline for submission of audition video link shall be on November 21, 2019, until 5:00 pm.
8. The participating bands are required to fill-out an entry form which can be obtained from the event organizers (Ms. Capacite, Ms. Sudario, or Sir. Ramos) SOB Department 2nd Floor of the Admin Bldg. starting November 15-21, 2019.
9. The audition videos will be judged on November 22, Friday by the following:

SOB Faculty Mr. Paul Aibel Ramos
10. Criteria for Judging
The bands shall be judged based on the following criteria:
Audition Videos:
Musicality 50%
Voice Quality 30%
Stage Presence 10%
Overall Performance 10%
Total 100%
